I spent this past weekend at the Long Street Hotel, it was a great end to an incredibly exciting week. The boutique hotel was the perfect place for my birthday weekend, not only is it on the busiest street in Cape Town, it has the largest balcony I've ever seen at a hotel. The decor in this hotel is so aesthetically pleasing, I loved the black and white.
I arrived on the Friday afternoon, the staff were so lovely and welcoming and were willing to help with what ever it was I needed. I had some work to do so I sat down on the bed with my laptop and about 2 hours later I was awoken by Hishaam coming into the room, the bed was so comfortable I literally passed out.
The best thing about this hotel is the night life, the first night we stayed here we went out to dinner and then hit the club. Everyone followed us back to the room in order to take in the stunning view below, we chilled on the balcony until the sun came up and then I spent the entire Saturday in bed, dying. The massive balcony could easily accommodate all of us, we were about 14 people, I really had the time of my life.
When I finally came too on Saturday I was the happiest knowing I was surrounded by a bunch of restaurants. If you're not up for leaving the bed, as I wasn't you can always just order Uber Eats and they deliver straight to your hotel room door.
I woke up Sunday feeling refreshed and ready to take on the day but a little sad that I had to leave, I took as much time as I could enjoying my tea on the balcony.
The Long Street Hotel is the absolute perfect place to stay if you're looking for a fun weekend away, right in the middle of all the action. It's walking distance from most of the hippest places in long street, there are countless restaurants around the hotel and you always have something cool to look at from the insanely massive balcony. This place is also perfect for you if you'd like a peaceful weekend but you're also into nightlife, there isn't much noise, I slept quite soundly, through the day and night.
This hotel is definitely going to be my go-to stay whenever I'm in town and ready for a party :).
