I checked into the Radisson Red on the afternoon of Friday the 22nd of June, it was in the heat of the World Cup and as you can see they had completely recreated a stadium stand for fans to come and watch each and every game. The worst thing about this weekend was that I was sick as a dog but I tried to be a champion and push through it.
The room we checked into had the most amazing view of the city and I was extremely warm and comfortable, exactly what I needed to get over the flu I was fighting. The staff at the Radisson Red were so sweet, they made sure I had ginger, lemon and honey tea which helped tons and got me through the weekend. I left there feeling so much better.
Most of you guys know that hotel breakfasts are my favourite and the Red's breakfast didn't disappoint. The best thing about their breakfast is the fact that they have all day breakfast so if you decide to sleep in or miss it for whatever reason, you're more than welcome to order it at any time during the day. Being as sick I was, I took advantage of this.
The Saturday night was loads of fun, the Red stadium was packed with fans alike coming from all over and even people from foreign countries coming to support their favourite soccer team. With the World Cup Final coming up this Sunday it's sure to be an electrifying atmosphere at the Radisson Red this weekend.
The only regret I have about my weekend stay was not being able to record more of it or enjoy it to the fullest. I would have loved to create some outfit posts around the hotels stunning decor, shoot way more in my massively comfortable room and even spent more time eating and drinking. Even though I didn't feel that great, I had an amazing stay and tried to make the most of it.
I would recommend the Radisson Red to anyone on any day and to make it even more appealing, the Radisson Red is situated right in the middle of one of the most artistic and picturesq locations in Cape Town, The Silo District. Everything you may need is in walking distance of the hotel and the V&A Waterfront is just a shuttle or Uber away.
Hopefully I'll see you guys there this Sunday for the soccer World Cup Final!
